| Jezika walked into the classroom, a thousand thoughts making a hurricane out of her brain. Ever since Codey became the headmaster, Jezika couldn't help but feel queasy. She didn't know what exactly made her guard go up. Perhaps it was instinctual or perhaps it was experience. Either way, she was sure that something was about to happen that she would not like.
In addition to all the changes made in the academy, her case was still cold. There was no sign of the mole and no leads with which her team could work with and instead of letting her work the case, the authorities decided to bench her. Oh, she understood that if she was involved in the case, she risked exposing her entire team and compromising their identity but if she was an active agent, she could lure the mole out and deal with whoever it was. At least her partner broke all the rules and maintained contact with her. For that, she was grateful. Of course, they took extra precautions to make sure their correspondence was untraceable but she sorely missed seeing and being with her team.
After allowing herself the pleasure of a sigh, she straightened her back and chased away her thoughts. Right now, she had a class to teach. Raising her hand, she cast a few non-verbal wandless spells, setting up the room to her satisfaction. The students would be greeted with an empty room, unable to see what she had prepared for them. |

| Arthur made his way to the Auror Wing. While Professor Fayne wasn't the most social able of the professors he liked her classes. The classes were always interesting. He didn't think he did too bad the time he had to figure out a new identity. But then again he knew his could have been stronger. Using middle name probably wasn't the best idea even though Ian had sounded safe.
When he got to the classroom he wondered why it was empty. Perhaps he would have to stand against the wall like that time with lasers. "Hello Professor."

| Eyes already sparkling with absolute delight - auror classes were some of her most favourite things in the world, just under Joe and her family and Cassana, Disney movies, and reading, in that order - Brooke made her way to the Auror wing. The Professors were great, and it had been a huge blow to hear of their Headmaster's resignation, for he had been someone who inspired her to become not only a good auror, but a good person.
Still, Pro... that is, Headmaster Ellingston - or, Codey as he insisted they call him - didn't seem too bad, although he only taught Dragoneering classes and she never studied under him before. From what her friends said, though, he was a great teacher.
Entering the class, she flashed a smile at her Professor. "Hello! How are you? How were your holidays?" she asked, genuinely interested, as she glanced around the room and made her way to the front. It was empty. That either meant they were going to do something practical with each other - disarming spells, or something akin, perhaps - or whatever their exercise of the way was, it was hidden. That was something that happened in Hogwarts once in a while, especially for DADA, but if Professor Fayne would do something like that, she wasn't sure.
Still, it wouldn't be long till they found out, and the smile only grew wider in anticipation. |

| One thing Serafina had learnt early on was that Stealth and Infiltration rarely consisted of classes where subterfuge was required. For now, it was mostly disarming and sneaking around, things that could not really be done in a dress. Still, on the off chance that classes were going to be based on playing an undercover role, Serafina wore clothes that could be easily transfigured into dresses.
This time, she was donning something much simpler than normal, not having been bothered that morning to find something else to transfigure.
Entering class, she greeted the Professor and moved to stand just beside the redhead. Brooke, a metamorphmagus auror in-training, who was also a year above her. They never really had reason to talk, though from what Serafina could tell the witch was usually hyper and very extroverted. It annoyed her, but false respect was something she had been trained to show since young, and if she didn't respect her seniors, that would not look good for her. After all, she might end up working under them if they graduated first.
One thing Serafina had learnt was that the witch was good at magic, and if they were going to be practising spells, that was who she wanted to be partnered with, even if she couldn't stand Brooke most times. |

| Amerix slowly made her way to the third floor of the academy, entirely not in the mood for a physical class. She was exhausted and wanted nothing but to curl up in her bed and sleep peacefully. Unfortunately, she knew that she could only ever hope for such a restful slumber. No doubt, the moment she closed her eyes, the nightmares would plague her and keep her awake. Even now, in the light of day, the images haunted her, taking the form of small triggers that would bring back memories of that awful day and memories of the dear ones she would never see again.
She entered the classroom and greeted the professor. The empty room did not lighten Amerix's spirits. It only told her that they would be doing something very physical, something she probably wasn't ready for. She'd once been fit for all the physical aspects of her major but right now, she knew that if this required a lot of muscle work, she would most likely fail.
She walked pass the other students already present, only sparing a small smile for Arthur and Brooke. She wasn't acquainted with the other girl but thought her to be one of those stuck up Purebloods. Letting out a small sigh, Amerix waited for the class to begin. |

| The days were beginning to mingle into one continuous stream of time passing by; he now knew what Janina meant when she told him that time was passing by so quickly. It was really iffy, the whole concept of it to begin with. Time passed by so quickly and yet so slowly at the same time. Sometimes it crawled by and he would find himself caught in the moment, taking in everything as the world slowed down around him. And, sometimes, he felt like he blinked and a month had gone, never to return.
Still, Gabriel had planned everything out to perfection, with backup plans for backup plans. The future would not catch him off guard.
Stepping into the class with a smile, he glanced around, noting the lack of tables or materials. It was to be practical, then. He'd been there long enough to be able to predict the type of classes based on the layout, and today would be something special; there were no mats for practising with each other, and no reason to hide that.
His eyes scanned through the people in attendance, landing on a familiar female. Making his way over to her, he flashed Amerix a quick grin. "Morning Professor!" he called out, then, softer, "Hello, Amerix." |

| Jezika returned Arthur's greeting but paused a short while to ponder Brooke's second question. Her holidays were downright awful. She'd been working her butt off trying to crack her own case but had turned up empty handed. "I'm doing alright, Brooke, thanks for your concern," she began, buying time to conjure a response that wouldn't require further lying. Merlin knew she did enough of that already. "I enjoyed my holidays the best I could," she settled on saying, adding a smile to her words. When Amerix came in, Jezika frowned. The girl didn't look fit enough to keep up in a practical class. She'd have to have a word with her later on.
After returning Gabriel's greeting, she waved her hand and the door shut and locked itself. "Good morning, class," she began. She didn't bother to introduce herself since these were older students. "The main objective for today is to breach a secure building to obtain an important folder. The whole thing will be simulated, of course. There are two parts. The first is a simple obstacle course to warm up. You will come across a large pool of water filled with monstrous sea creatures which you will have to cross; monkey bars over a lava pit; four hurdles, each four feet high and lastly, a laser maze. As always, none of these obstacles will actually hurt you but if you, for example, drop into the lava pit or trigger a laser beam, you will be stunned for three seconds. It won't cause pain, it will just hinder your movement. If you drop into the lava pit, you will be returned to where you last stopped after the three second stun."
"The second part is the actual breaching of the building. You will not be given a map but the folder is in the north-east corner room of the building," Jezika continued. "You will spawn out side the wall surrounding the building where you will be provided with a single rope. There will be dummy guards patrolling the wall who will shoot paint bullets at you if you're spotted or if you make too much noise. You can either take them down or evade them. Once over the wall, there will be more dummies out to get you. There will also be objects behind which you can hide. There is no way to enter the building except through the south chimney. This will lead you to a room where you must duel two dummies who will shoot paint pellets at you. I will minus marks for each pellet that hits you. The door will automatically unlock once you kill these two dummies. Go through the door into the hallway. Again, there will be dummies patrolling at regular intervals. These dummies cannot be killed but have to be evaded."
Jezika paused to make sure everyone was listening. This was the crucial part. "Turn right, take the third hallway on your left, pass five doors. Enter the sixth door. This will be locked. Find a way to open it. Once that is done, take the ninth hallway to you left, then the fifth hallway to your right. There will be a series of splits. Stick to the middle for the first split, then the right, then the right again and finally the left. You will end up in a room where you must defeat a boggart to retrieve the folder. Once the folder is secure, you have twelve minutes to get out. There will be an exit door which is locked. It will lead you to the grounds of the building, where there are dummies patrolling. Get across the grounds and head for the blue door. Again, it is locked but once you open it, you will return to this room. If you don't get out in time, you will be drenched in paint. Another thing to note is the the breaching of the building takes place at night so it will be dark."
"Please keep in mind that every hallway you are in, there will be dummies patrolling, none of which can be destroyed, only evaded. Be creative with your spells, charms and jinxes. You will be graded according to how creative and skilled you are," Jezika finished. "Once you are ready, come to me and I will charm you to begin."[[OOC: Be creative with what you write and don't worry about the length. Obstacles course is not too difficult and should be completed easily, unless your character is rather clumsy and unfit. The breaching, however, is challenging and requires skills and quick thinking. Take note of this if you character is not very skilled either in their dueling or stealth. Most of all, have fun! You may GM Jezika starting your character off. She will wave her hand around the student and they will be sent to their own little world where they have to complete the objectives. I've included a summary of the objectives your character has to complete in the spoiler below. Your character will not have the summary and will have to rely on their memory.]]- Instructions:
Obstacle course: 1) A large pool of water with sea creatures that will harm. The only way is to go across it. If your character decides to swim and gets bitten, they will be stunned for three seconds. 2) Monkey bars over a lava pit. If your character falls into the pit, they will be stunned for three seconds and automatically sent back to where they last stopped. 3) Four hurdles each four feet high. These are solid and your character cannot go under them. 4) A laser maze. Touching a laser beam will stun your character for three seconds. Building (takes place at night so it will be dim): 1) A wall with dummies that will shoot paint pellets if they notice you. Your character is given a coil of rope. Dummies can be evaded or destroyed. 2) The grounds of the building filled with dummies that cannot be destroyed. There are objects to hide behind. 3) Enter through south chimney. 4) Duel two dummies in a room. Minus marks for each paint pellet that hits. 5) Turn right at the hallway, take the third hallway to the left, enter the locked sixth door, ninth hallway to the left, fifth hallway to the right. 6) Middle split, right split, right split, left split. 7) Defeat boggart. Unlock exit door, cross the grounds where there will be dummies. 9) Unlock the blue door. 10) Note: Every hallway has dummies that patrol regularly and cannot be destroyed. Marks will be deducted for every paint pellet taken by your character. Your character will not have this summary. |

| Arthur mentally went through the courses, envisioning him in the various parts. When he thought he might be ready he stepped in front of the professor. He wondered what the charm used on him would be.
Once at the lake Arthur apparated across. He walked until he had to crawl across the monkey bars. He couldn't remember the last time he had gone across monkey bars, it might have not been too bad if it wasn't for the simulated lava.
He went back to get a running start and jumped up over the hurdles. Once he got to the laser maze Arthur stopped so he could plan out his way out. He got through the maze and couldn't help thinking that it had been more difficult to do the first time.
Arthur cast a Disillusionment Charm before going to the side of the wall surrounding the building. He nearly didn't find the coil of rope in the darkness. Arthur found a firm footing on the wall and used the rope to climb up.
Arthur made his way from object to object, just in case.
He pointed his wand at himself and said "Ascendio" once he was close enough to the south chimney. Arthur grabbed onto the ledge and pulled himself up. He slide down the chimney.
Two pellets of paint greeted him when he fell into the room. I should have cast a shield charm or something, Arthur thought but there was no time to dwell on it.
"Bombarda Maxima!" He pointed his wand at one of the dummies exploding it. Then he did the same to the other dummy.
Quickly he made his way through the door and into the hallway. "Fumos." A defensive cloud of smoke came out of his wand, making him harder to aim at. Narrowly avoiding some paint balls he turned right, took the third hallway to his left and passed five doors all while repeating the professor's directions in his head.
"Alohomora!" he cast to unlock the sixth door. He cast a shield charm around himself before entering and took the ninth hallway to the left, fifth hallway to the right. He took a moment to catch his breath when he got to the middle split, then he went right, right again and left.
From the time he had done the tournament he knew what his boggart would be. The over flowing cauldron still brought back memories of his father's death expecting it didn't make it better.
"Riddikulus!" The cauldron spit out confetti and rolled over. Arthur grabbed the folder and used "Alohomora!" again on the door.
"Reducto! Bombarda! Confringo! " He realized that none of his casting had destroyed the dummies but at least they were slowed down.
"Alohomora!" he casted to open the blue door. He went through wondering what his time was. |

| Smiling at the first answer, Brooke wondered what the Professor meant by her second statement. Was it that she had a bad holiday and yet was trying to redeem it? Or was it that she had a great holiday and didn't want to brag about what she had done? Hoping it was the latter, Brooke pressed the matter no more, instead genuinely saying, "I hope it was a good one."
As soon as class started, she turned her attention entirely to Professor Fayne. Almost as soon as the objective of the day was given, her hand slipped down to her bag, where she removed a small notebook and pen. Flipping to a new page, she quickly scribbled down what was being said, knowing that her memory was bad and not trusting it to be sufficient for detailed instructions like this. When the professor was done, Brooke looked at what she'd written down.
It was messy, having been written without looking, and Brooke took a few moments to sort out her notes, rewriting them into three parts: the obstacle course, the initial breaching, and then the instructions once she was in. That was the most important one, and she copied them down once more, using bigger and neater handwriting that she could make out in a single glance. The last thing she wanted was to get lost – and, considering she still got lost in Merlin's, despite being there for quite a few years, this was more than likely.
South chimney - 2 kill. R. 3rd hall L door 6. 9th hall L. 5th hall R. Mid, R, R, L. Bog-folder. Exit, grounds, blue door.
Ripping out the paper, she studied it for a while, trying to memorise it as much as she could to minimise the amount of times she'd need to refer to it. Carefully, she folded it neatly and placed it in her pocket, making sure it was within easy reach. Next, she turned her attention to the instructions she'd scribbled for the obstacle course. In the background, she heard Arthur stepping forward, but her focus was too strong for her to take much notice of it; she was in hyperfocus mode, mind churning as she tried to figure out what spells she could use and how she would overcome each thing in her way. Would it be cheating to use her natural born talent? Was that creativity or laziness? Deciding to take a risk, Brooke made up her mind: she would use it.
Forming a basic plan outline, she ran through it once more in her mind, then nodded to herself. Any set backs could be dealt with on the fly; improv would not be very difficult for her. Focusing, she pictured a bob cut in her mind, feeling her hair recline and shift into just that; long hair would only hinder her. Then, slipping out her wand and stepping forward, she nodded towards the Professor, a slightly nervous yet excited smile on her face. "I'm ready, Professor," she said. Jezika nodded and the next thing Brooke knew, she felt an odd pressure - similar to that of apparation, but not exact - and as soon as it let up, her surroundings had changed.
She took a moment to take a deep breath, steadying her nerves, then stepped forward towards the pool. "Glacius tria," she said, firmly, her wand just touching the surface of the water. It froze at once, the area just large enough and thick enough for her to step on. "Glacius tria. Glacius tria. Glacius tria. Glacius tria." With each step forward, she kept charming the water just before her, ensuring that the ice would remain thick and firm as she crossed the pond.
That was easy enough. The next part would be harder, if not for what she was about to do. Focusing yet again, she felt her arms grow thicker, stronger, as she forced just a tad more muscles to her biceps; at the same time, she removed some of the weight from her legs and her stomach, making herself as light as possible without deformities (for that would be a bit too extreme). Reaching up, she grabbed hold of the first bar and tested her new arms. "Woah," she murmured. "That worked better than expected." Pausing, she couldn't help but grin wryly. "What would Joe say, huh?" Swinging herself forward, she easily grabbed the next bar. "Too skinny, Brooke. That's not healthy." She reached for the next one - but the heat from the (mock) lave had made it sweaty, and she slipped. Dangling by one arm, she let out a gasp, thankful that she hadn't just relied on her original strength. "Come on. You've barely started. Don't lose now." Rocking her body, she grabbed the other bar and rested for a while, taking in shallow breaths at the close call, before making her way to the end, muttering to herself the entire time to help keep her calm and focus.
As soon as she crossed the lava pit and her feet touched the ground, she was already moving, focusing for the third time to make herself taller. Six foot three. That was the number in her mind, and she could never be sure unless she measured - something she didn't have time for now - but she trusted her abilities, and so six foot three was what she figured she was. Putting her hands on the wall, she pulled herself up, swung her legs over, and landed on the other side. Repeating this process for the next few walls, Brooke didn't need to hesitate or falter, completing them quickly.
But then came the laser maze. As she returned herself to her usual appearance - losing the muscles, height, and putting on the extra weight - she slowed down her speed and came to a halt. "Uh oh." The lasers were close together, much like those grids she saw on TV shows like Leverage, and there was no way she was a 'Parker'. Balancing was not a skill she had. Still, if Tonks - her real life hero, someone she had only ever read about and wish she could've met - could pass the Auror exams and still be that klutzy, she could, too.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped forward, ducking her head and tilting her body to avoid one of the beams. It was a slow, slow process of checking, moving a little, checking again, moving a little, checking once more... And then, the inevitable happened - she slipped a little and then froze, indicating that she had somewhere and somehow touched a laser. She counted to three before even attempting to move again, and, mentally cheering herself on, stepped right on another laser. She stopped to think.
"Okay, this obviously isn't working. Lasers. Lasers. How to get past..." Her eyes grew wider. "Oh!" With careful movements, she slipped out her wand and pointed it at the floor. Muttering a spell under her breath, she formed a coil of rope. "Diffindo," she murmured, cutting up the rope into smaller pieces. Then, carefully and slowly, she transfigured the individual sections into a flat metal piece. "Wingardium leviosa." Moving each piece of the metal into place, she reflected the lasers, creating a path just wide enough for her to walk through.
With a small smile of triumph, Brooke turned sideways and inched her way out of the maze. As soon as she stepped out, she felt another jerk, and the world around her blurred once more. This time, when it stopped, she was outside a tall wall, just as promised. The rope was also there, as said, but surely there had to be a faster way to get up? If only there was a way to fly without a broom... There was also obviously an anti-apparation charm - she had tried, just to be on the safe side - or it would be too easy to just apparate into the room or onto the roof, so what else was there?
With a shrug, her mind failed her, and she moved automatically, anchoring the rope to the top of the wall with a sticking charm. And then, her mind flew back to her 3rd year Hogwarts days, DADA class - carpe retractum. "Oh, duh." Her smile grew, and she pointed at the top of the wall and spoke the spell under her breath. The next moment, she went flying through the air, landing with a soft thud on the top; immediately she turned and lay flat, wand out and a defensive spell on the tip of tongue. A dummy nearby turned to face her, and she silently cast a simple silencing charm in case he - it? - tried to shout a warning. A second spell hit it moments later and it fell quietly, stunned. Glancing around, she noted that there weren't any more nearby. Grabbing the rope and readjusting it, Brooke rappelled herself down quickly and with ease; they had done this before in previous classes.
Now on the grounds, her first move was to find and hide behind the first object. If this had been a real mission, she would have changed her appearance to mimic that of one of the guards, but she was facing dummies; this was not an option. Mind racing along with her heart, she decided to take a few short moments to catch her breath and calm down. It was not wise to do anything while this pumped. Once she felt herself relaxing a little, she tapped her head and wordlessly cast a disillusion charm, something she had been practising on her own after reading about it in a History book. The cold trickle told her it had worked, and she glanced down at her body with a grin. It was blending in perfectly with the background, like a chameleon; all she needed to do now was walk from object to object without sudden jerky movements or making any noise.
Once or twice, a dummy came close enough that she had to hold her breath and cross her fingers, wand pointed at the head, ready to stun them. But the charm had been cast well, and they looked right past her. Making her way to the south chimney, she made sure none of the patrolling guards was nearby before using carpe retractum once more. The next set of instructions was the one that made her most uncomfortable: killing. Stunning, knocking out, injuring... These she could do. But murder?
Still disillusioned, she stared down the chimney, working up the nerve. Then, ending that spell, she set up the rope to rappel once more, and cast potego around her before lowering herself down the chimney. The moment she landed, she felt - and heard - a thud against her shield, and silently thanked her foresight. Then, with a deep breath, she started the duel. Dodging paint pellets and firing both defensive and offensive spells, Brooke knew she was in her element. Finally, about five minutes after the initial contact, a very well timed duro caused the curtain - which she had charmed to wrap around the drummers - to turn into stone, crushing the dummies at once. She had been hit twice - there was a little bit of blue on her last and fourth finger of her right hand, as well as some yellow near her ankle, when she had dived and narrowly avoided being hit in the stomach - but untouched otherwise.
A soft click echoed in the ensuing silence; the door had unlocked. There were a few tears in her eyes that Brooke quickly rubbed away, and she stepped forward towards the door. "I'm sorry," she murmured under her breath, glancing at the remains of the dummies. Mourn later. Move now, she instructed herself, and boxed away the emotions she felt to analyse and let out later. Opening the door every slightly, Brooke didn't bother to leave just yet, instead seating herself and waiting. And she kept waiting until she had seen the guards walk by twice; she had figured out their timing and pattern, having seen which hallways they walk down and when. It wouldn't help further down, but at least for now she'd know how to avoid them for the first few turns.
As soon as she knew she had a clearing, she stepped out into the hallway, disillusion charm having already been cast on herself, and turned right. Walking quickly, she counted three turns offs on the left, and then walked down that one, before counting six doors. There was a noise from somewhere behind her, and she turned slightly. If someone was coming, they would see her no doubt; the charm helped hide her a little, but it wasn't the best.
Moving quickly, Brooke pointed her wand down the empty hallway where the noise was growing louder, and murmured, "Avis, oppugno,". A flock of birds erupted from the tip of her wand and immediately let out a variety of squawks and screeches before flying towards the dummy. Attacking birds would be more than enough a distraction, giving her enough time to mutter, "Alohomora," unlocking the door. Slipping inside, she took a split second to catch her breath and relock the door behind her; without waiting a moment more, she moved down the corridor. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight..."
Not hesitating, she quickly moving one corridor down - the 9th hallway - and running down, counting five hallways on the right. Slipping out the piece of paper, she glanced at it and moved straight down, and then going right and right again. Brooke paused at the last split. Boggart. Her greatest fear was the same as the last time she had faced one - losing Joe - and Brooke had to mentally prepare herself for whatever it was she'd see. And then, suddenly, she felt something slam into her back leg, and stumbled, narrowly able to stop herself from crying out in shock. Turning at once, she didn't even hesitate before wordlessly casting levicorpus and silencio. The dummy shot up into the air by his - its? - ankle and hung there in silence. She glanced at the red on her pants and frowned, mentally scolding herself for being so careless.
Then, not wanting to waste time, she moved down the left corridor. The room she entered was dim as expected, and she turned warily around in a circle, wand pointed outwards. A blur of motion caught her attention and she spun. "Ridi-" she started, and then stuttered into silence at the sight.
Joe. Standing over an empty crib. He was holding a small shirt - a baby shirt - and he was crying softly. He looked up at her, his eyes dull and lifeless. "I'm sorry, Brooke. I loved you once. But after you lost our baby... I can't. I can't do this anymore."
She swallowed dryly, tried to speak, but nothing came out. "He was to be our everything. Now I have nothing," Joe continued.
And then, at the back of her mind, the quiet words Joe had spoken to her when she had come back after Cassana had sent her away echoed. It's not your fault, Aurora. I love you. I always will. "Ridikulus."
The force of her spell was strong enough that nothing funny happened; it simply vanished. A moment later, she realised she was crying, and didn't bother to try and stop the tears that fell. Instead, she closed her eyes, recalling on as many truths as she could - as many promises as she could remember word for word - that Joe had told her over the years. Once she felt the tears coming to a natural halt, she wiped at the remaining dampness on her cheeks. "I hate boggarts," she said, out loud, to the empty room. "I really hate boggarts."
Taking a deep breath, Brooke counted to five, and then let out the breath slowly. "Alright. Back to business." The folder was easy enough to find, and she grabbed it and tucked it under her free arm. Twelve minutes.
Another alohomora got her out of that room, and she glanced at the grounds. It was flat with no covering and she would easily be spotted if she tried to run blindly. She needed to see where each dummy was in order to avoid them, but calling on a light would only draw attention to herself. Unless...
She thought of Joe. His arms around her as they lay in bed, his quiet breathing indicating he'd fallen asleep, the warmth and love and security she felt knowing he was there... "Expecto patronum." The silver dolphin burst forth and swam gracefully away from her, bright and gleaming and perfect, and into the grounds. At once she could make out pellets of paint being shot at the patronus, and she used the light to make out each shape of each dummy, and placing their locations mentally. Making sure she was in the shadows, she allowed her dolphin to move around for a few more moments before ending the spell.
As the light from her patronus disappeared, she started flinging stunning spells in the direction of the dummies closest to her, making sure to keep moving sideways to avoid giving her own position away; in between each stunning spell, she cast shield spells around her. But she was getting nowhere; she couldn't step out into the field without risking getting hit. With a grim purse of her lips, Brooke realised what she'd have to do.
Pointing her wand at the middle of the field, she cried, "Expulso!" and turned her back and braced herself. The force of the explosion rocked her shield, and she stumbled, but managed to stabilise herself and took off running at once, before any of the dummies could stand up. As she moved, she cast orbis on as many dummies around her as she could, until she reached the blue door.
One final alohomora saw her through, and for the last time that day, the things around her spun and she blinked; she was back in the classroom. Letting out a long sigh of relief, she gave the professor a grin, but didn't try to speak. Panting, sweaty, and exhausted, Brooke nevertheless felt more than accomplished at what she'd done.
Only one thought ran through her mind: Yes, this is definitely what I was meant to do. |
