| [[OOC: I'm so super sorry this is late! Not much of an excuse but I've been busy with work and stress over some IRL things, so haven't had the muse nor energy nor time to post. ]]
Codey stood, arms crossed, in the centre of the field. His right hand clutched firmly at his wand, although his position was relaxed. A few meters away was his favourite dragon, the Opaleye. A thick chain was attached to a collar around her neck, enabling her to fly around but not escape; there was an unbreakable charm placed on it. At the moment, however, she was content with laying on the ground, her wings folded neatly around her body, and tail curled in towards her head.
Her eyes were open, and alert, but she saw no danger and didn't so much as blink. Codey knew she was well behaved enough to not attack his students, which was why he had picked her as the first live dragon for show and tell. A blackboard had been brought to the area, and on it were written a few simple questions.
1) What dragon is this? 2) What areas do they occupy? 3) What country can they be found?
Keeping one eye on Skittles (and yes, he had actually taken to calling her that), Codey waited for his students to arrive. |

| Timing was not Daniel's strong suit. However, the boy had taken on Professor Ellingston's words and had tried. No, really, he had tried, however, the whole notion of being on time was a difficult concept for Daniel. So, with five minutes to go to class, he'd left his apartment and hurried to the classes. Which meant he was a couple of minutes late.
But the first here.
Damn it.
Looking to the professor, Daniel nodded once in greeting, being outside meant he didn't have a desk to sit at which suited him. Please not a lesson on my own... Daniel thought to himself, looking at the dragon before them. Hmm. Taking half a step back, he took it in, looking to the board and then back at the dragon. Thinking. |

| Walking to their usual meeting spot, Tess knew she was a bit late. But her mind was all over the place, not really sure what to think since the last meeting. She had to admit that her personal life had been lacking. Rhian hadn't been the most attentive friend, busy with her own classes, and with taking care of a charmed baby and a baby dragon...well it wasn't the best of a situation. But she figured it was best if she kept busy instead of thinking of her neighbor and the odd interaction. Oh Merlin so embarrassing.
Her hair was growing longer, now able to be in a ponytail, but she let it flow freely in the spring breeze as she finally reached the stables. It was a nice day and she had forgone her cloak leaving her in a sleeveless blouse an a pair of shorts. It was a hot day, the only thing remaining her the boots to deal with the dirt and grime.
Behind her was her baby dragon running behind her at full speed. It had stubby legs but surprisingly graceful, which made Tess amused all the more. Sprinkles was adorable that way.
"Come along" she called to it as it rushed behind her.
Seeing the professor, she grinned at Codey, especially as she saw Skittles laying there.
"Afternoon" she said before walking over to the only other student there. Picking up her baby dragon, she waited patiently for class to begin. |
