Scarlett found herself in a rather odd position, for this semester at least. Short of staff, instead of taking just the auror class, she was also taking potioneering. Though it was a lot of work, with two subjects and her auror job, she didn't really mind. She enjoyed her job as an auror, she enjoyed teaching others about what she did, and she recalled in school that she was rather talented at potions, so it would be good to get back into it.

Another odd thing though was the topic of dragon poison. While always in the curriculum, it had been moved to the top, apparently being important. Scar didn't question it though, she could see why it might be important in the case of perhaps san escaped dragon.

She wrote the topic on the board and waited for students to enter so she could begin.

Melody made her way to the potions wing. She wasn't sure who to expect to be teaching this class. She was sure there was a good reason that Professor Holmes hadn't been teaching Healing potions. People came and went all the time, the thought filled her with a sense of solemness.

"Hello professor," Melody greeted when she got to the doorway. She didn't know this professor either. Melody made her way inside and took a seat at the front of the room.

Dragon Poison. Well that couldn't fail to be interesting. She hoped everyone else could get here soon for class to start.
