-Dragons

Ever since Alana was a young girl, she was always fascinated with dragons. She loved how magical they looked when in flight, and how peaceful they seemed when on the ground. She loves the smell of their fire when they blow, and how gentle they can be when treated right.

-Storms

She finds them comforting, and they always drowned out the sound of her parents fighting, so they helped her sleep at night.

-Meditating

She finds it relaxing. She will do it before any stressful moment. There’s nothing more comforting than meditating during a storm. It’s the most relaxing thing to her.

-Cheese

There’s nothing Alana loves more than cheese. She loves the smooth taste of sharp cheddar, the moistness of Mozzarella, and the saltyness of Parmesan. In fact, there isn’t a cheese that Alana hasn’t tried that she doesn’t like.  

Dislikes:

-Being Told No

Alana is a stuborn girl and usually ends up getting what she wants, but she hates being told the word no. So much, she will try and persuade the person in any way shape or form.

-Fighting

Alana hates fighting. She grew up in a home where fighting was done on a regular basis.

-Rats

Alana hates Rats. When she was little, her brother had a snake. The snake only ate rats, but her brother thought it would be HILARIOUS if he snuck the rats in her bed before she got in it. So, that night, when Alana climbed into bed, she screamed loudly, and nearly cursed her brother’s head off. And since then, she’s had nightmares about rats climbing into her bed at night.

-Christmas

Alana hates Christmas. Mainly because it’s a family holiday, and it always consisted of her parents fighting over something. After coming home in her first year of Hogwarts, she vowed to never go home during Christmas again.

Alana keeps a journal and writes down what she hears, thinks, smells, and sees. She also writes down what she thinks of other people.

-Bad Jokes

Alana likes to believe that she’s the funniest person on the planet, but in reality, she’s just sarcastic, and her jokes are dry, and not very funny.

-Biting Nails

Due to Alana always getting nervous as a child, she always bit her nails. Now her nails are pretty much non-existent, and yet she still manages to find some to bite. It’s a habit that she hasn’t broken yet even as a young adult

-Sailor’s Mouth

Alana may look like an angel on the outside, but once one gets to know her, she’s not as she seems. She talks like a sailor, and is definitely not lady like. One would even question if she’s even a girl.

Alana finds that getting to know a person, or knowing them and having them leave is really hard. She prefers to be on her own, and is afraid of losing a friend/loved one ect.

-Cussing

When it comes to language, there is no filter. Alana doesn’t think about what she says before she says it. She doesn’t care what is socially right in the world, and will say whatever she wants.

-Needing Attention

Alana will do anything for attention due to being ignored for half of her childhood. If she thinks that she is being ignored, she will perform a stunt into which will get her into trouble. She was considered the “class clown” at Hogwarts, and usually got into loads of trouble because of it.

-Gullible

Alana is extremely gullible. She doesn’t understand when people are playing jokes, even though she tries to do them herself.

John and Angela Greene met each other at Hogwarts. They fell in love in their fifth year, and stayed together all through school, and eventually went on to Merlin University. At the end of their second year of John’s Healing school, and Angela’s dragon-training school, John proposed to Angela right after she told him that she was pregnant with a baby. Life seemed to speed up for them, as they realized that they weren’t just going to be lovers anymore, but parents. Angela vowed to be a good mother, and John vowed to be the devoted father.
But little did they know, that things could fall apart so fast.

At the start of her birth, Alana was always a spoiled child. She was the first daughter, granddaughter, and niece. This led to her always acting out when things didn’t go her way, and when she didn’t get what she wanted. But when she was just two years old, her parents had a son named Augustus “Auggie”. Things changed after Alana’s brother was born. She was never the center of attention, and sometimes she was even ignored. So much to the fact, that a couple of times they had left her places, like the grocery store, or when her mother was leaving her grandmother’s house. This led to Alana having attachment issues that would follow her around for the rest of her life.
When Alana was just six years old, and Auggie 4, Alana was mad at him because as usual, he was getting all the attention from her parents.

So, she looked at a lamp that was sitting by his crib on the floor, and started staring at it. Moments later, the lamp smashed and hit the floor, glass going all over the crib, and near to where Auggie was playing. Of course, Angela blamed Alana, even though the innocent six year old had only been 5 feet away from the lamp that threatened little precious Auggie’s life. They never guessed the fact that it could be Alana’s magical abilities kicking in.

At the age of 8, 6 year old Auggie was playing on a pogo stick in the garage. Up on a shelf, there was a paint bucket that was on the very edge of a plank of wood. Alana was sitting on the swing in the front yard, and saw the paint bucket. She remembered the lamp incident, and tried to make the paint bucket fall on little Auggie’s head. At that moment, the maid who was supposed to be watching the two children, saw Alana staring intently at the bucket and pushed Auggie out of the way. She didn’t know about the family being magical, and this led to her screaming and yelling about Alana being a possessed demon-child, who was trying to kill Auggie. At that moment, Alana’s father knew that Alana had gotten her magical abilities, and was a full witch. At the age of eleven, she received her Hogwart’s letter to learn how to control her abilities,
and maybe even her behavior.

At school, Alana’s favorite subject was care of magical creatures. She loved learning about all different types of animals, and by fourth year, she grew a passion about dragons. Alana and her parents were very strict in how she did in her OWLs. She passed all of her classes with W’s and O’s. Particularly in Care of Magical Creatures. It was her favorite subject, and she adored animals, especially dragons. In her sixth year, Alana did more research about careers for dragons, and decided to become a Dragon-Trainer. She grew passionate about dragons, and animal rights as well.

Because of her love of animals, Alana studied how to become an Animagus. She became interested when hearing about them in one of her classes during her third year. She studied, and studied about how to become one, and by her sixth year, she was able to transform into a beautiful white rabbit. To keep up with her animagus skills, Alana only transformed once every few weeks, as it would get tiring, and she was afraid she would injure herself if she did it more than twice a week.

During Hogwarts, she also participated in Quidditch, and was the keeper for the Slytherin Quidditch team. At the night of her graduation, a black bird appeared at her window telling her she had been accepted to Merlin’s academy like her parents before her. It was of no surprise to her, and she willingly accepted the invitation. After doing a vigorous amounts of research, Alana was sure that Dragon training was in her future. And she was sure as hell ready for it.

Why you chose your major:

Alana always has a knack for danger, and being put in dangerous situations. As a child, she was always fascinated in the dragon’s part of the story in a fairy tale, and not the whole prince saving the princess part. She would always cry when the dragon was slayed and claimed it was “animal abuse”. In Hogwarts, Alana found herself getting more interested in Dragon’s, and did more research on them in her free time. She is very passionate about dragons, and has a soft spot for them.
