Alistairs real parents were a story that no one ever enjoys sharing. His father Alexander Flux was a gunrunner, the epitome of power in the muggle world was his profession of choice; and illegally at that. A. Flux was how he was addressed around the world.. also merchant of death was a name given to him notoriously. His gunrunning escapades; the money he made so illegally took him far and wide. Places from all over Africa to the Middle East, up to the Soviet Union and places sorrounding such as Serbia and the Ukraine. Where ever there was a war or a need for power A. Flux was probably behind the weapons of destruction supplied. With absolute power comes an absolute down fall. Alexander began to be trailed by interpol agents, and the C.I.A. Alexander was also pursued by rival gunrunners. Thankfully on Alistairs fathers last run.. his wife.. Annaya; had an ominous feeling of impending doom. Alistairs mother had her only son sent to japan with her life long best friend, a woman by the name of Michiyuki and her husband Kiro (for short). These two great people knew they can take care of Alistair for he never saw his parents much to begin with, and when the time was right, they were to inform him of the ugly and terrible muggleworld truths and a very huge decision that is in store for him. His mother seems to be the connection to why Alistair has the abilities that he does. Michi had a bond with Alistairs mother on a level no one understood and that was the studies and the actual world of wizardry. When Alistair came to the age of 11 he was informed of his parents life in this tangible world and was automatically drawn to the roots of his mother and adopted mother. Alistair went to hogwarts but not without a gift from both of his mothers. From then on he devoted himself to break curses that seemed impossible to get away from just like the curse that gripped his original family to their doom. Now 18, Alistair hopes are to become someone the parents he still has are proud of and to never become the parents who birthed him.

Why you chose your major: Learning the story about his real parents dealt a bigger blow than anyone knows. Alistair feels that money was the curse his parents inevitably met their demise to, and so he wants to learn how to disband all curses in case ever necessary.
