Vincent is a gentle man, very kind and loving. This is because he grew up so close to his mother. Because of his loving nature, he was lead to be quite overprotective of those most in need. His parents found out of his magical abilities when he was seven, and his mother began teaching him small tricks as the Australian Ministry in their district was far more lax than in England. Attending school in Hobart was peaceful and fun, but no school is without it's bullies. From the ages of 11 to 13, Vincent watched his blood churning and gut twisting as Hunter Weck tormented the scrawnier boys.

Finally at 13 years old, Vince shoved at Hunter and told him to leave Greg Fiersen alone. To this, Hunter pummeled him to the point that he almost needed hospital attention. It was then that he became aware of his true nature; he wanted to protect people, but he was not in anyway physically equipped to do so. From then on out he devoted himself to becoming stronger and learning to fight.

He forgave Hunter for what happened to him as he grew up too, discovering later that Hunter had many home problems of his own to deal with and was releasing the tension the only way he knew how. At 18 years old, Vincent traveled around Europe and Asia trying to find different versions of fighting. At the age of 23 he realized while in a Buddhist monastery in Taiwan that his calling in life was to be a teacher. Therefore he chose the best university available to him being Merlin's Academy. It was there he was able to double major in Auror-ing and Dragon Training; he didn't go into either field directly per say. Rather he applied his knowledge of martial arts to his Auror abilities and used his connections made around the world in his Dragon Training.

He plans on teaching a synthesis of muggle fighting techniques in his Combat in Training class. His intensive studies and abilities to contact all the various connections he's built around Eurasia has given him access to a great knowledge about dragon whereabouts and their health. He keeps strong contact with Reserves in Asia and Europe (specifically in Shangai, Kyoto, Bulgaria, St. Petersburg, etc). He has images and even took several months to study their patterns of mating and raising.

He has always followed his heart and it one-day took him to Nyla Nelluc; a beautiful, 18-year-old also trying to be a teacher. They had a whirlwind romance that ended in heartbreak eventually. When he was twenty-seven and almost done getting his teaching degree, and Nyla was twenty-two she was pregnant with Lucca Trason.

She demanded they be married right away, and who was he to deny her? He was very much in love with her. Fatherhood was something Vince was born for; his other vocation in life. As it so turned out, on Lucca's second birthday, his real biological father appeared and demanded a DNA test. Nyla had been engaged in an affair with a Professor's Assistant while in her last year of college. Vince was so outraged, when the DNA test came back positive that the other man was the father, he was contemplating never seeing him again. After many months of arguing it came down to do these terms: Nyla would divorce him and get the money she could (not half but a fourth which was more than she deserved), have weekend visitation rights, the other man denied wanting any contact with them (only wanting to ruin Nyla's perfect life in a form of vengeful vindication), and Vince would have basically full custody.

On weekdays during the hours where Vince is teaching, Lucca is with his nanny, Lina Samson, a retired preschool teacher.


Desmond Trason is a muggleborn; he inherited the Trason fortune, one built-up after years of embezzling and other illegal trade through gang-related relations in Hobart. He received the Trason Corporation, one that deals with oils and other pieces of the stock market, from his father, Christian. Morgause Fayle was also a muggleborn, but a witch. She took her practice very seriously and became a Healer. Unfortunately a twist of fate led Desmond into Morgause's path, and he was taken by her. A strong independent woman she relied on no man, she had a mystery to her that he was deadset on discovering.

And discover he did!

After three years of courting, before finally proposing he discovered she was a witch. Rather than being disgusted, he was so fascinated he tried magic for himself. Ended up hurting himself, but it was worth it. They're a funny and happy couple, showing the kind of home-life Vincent was able to experience growing up. Brandon is four years younger than him and taking over the Trason Corporation.
