Nicole's Childhood was pleasantly normal, as her parents were both Half-Bloods. Her Father and Mother had loved each other very much, until Daniel, her younger brother, came along. Rebekah had an affair with Bryan and it resulted in a child that wasn't his. Of course they never let Nicole know, and Daniel was brought up as if he was like her. But what made matters worse, Daniel turned out to be a squib and Bryan blamed it on the man Rebekah had a one night stand with. After that, Nicole went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw like her mother. Nicole liked to think that her father was overreacting and when she came back it would all go back to normal.
It never did. Her father was always busy with 'work' and her mother had been brewing potions from home and taking care of Daniel. Becoming good at potions herself in Hogwarts was no big surprise as her mother had tried to teach her several things. She recieved O's in her NEWT's for the subject and she had been rather proud. Her mother agreed to pay for her further education at Merlin's Academy For Excellence if Nicole agreed to become a Potioneer. Naturally, she agreed.
