Hamish is...Hamish. Most people find him to be lazy, and while that is mostly true, he dislikes when people say it to his face. Besides, he likes to think that his lazy nature prompts him to find the quickest way to do things. He will often come up with very convoluted ways to allow him to be more lazy, even if those ways require a bit of work in the short term to allow for laziness in the long term. Inventive, you might say. Being a wizard, of course, does assist him in his lazy endeavors.
His parents met at a small bed and breakfast in Scotland. His mother was touring the country for photographs and his father was the child of the owners at the time. Now, the pair of them run the bed and breakfast themselves. It's a quaint life, to be sure, but they love it and their three children immensely.
