Born to a human mother, Rhian always new she was different. It was the way that she was kept from most people. How the house keepers were on a very strict schedule that kept them away at certain times of the day. How she was always told to keep her emotions in check, lest the "darker" side of her come out. She didn't understand when she was young what that meant, but she learned quickly once she came to school.

Dhampyr. When presented with a whole library worth of new books, Rhian hadn't waited long to research what she was. Her home library had oddly been vacant of any information about herself. But now...she knew. She knew what she was...and that no one else could ever know. Hiding behind her books and a quiet demeanor, she tries to keep people at bay. For their safety and hers. In most things, she appears human. It's only when she loses control of herself that her true nature...reveals itself.
