Dress sense:  Simple, opting for a t-shirt and jeans above anything else. Though he has an obsession with Chuck Taylors, which he often paints himself. Sometimes with subject matter that his mother does not approve of.


Likes: Kellen is a lover of food, he was often shooed out of the kitchen by his mother. Though he could not stand hamburgers for some reason. And like any well-rounded wizard, he loved Quidditch, but like any good Irishman, love football as well, even trying out for the Irish National team on his Christmas break his seventh year at Hogwarts. He likes to read and paint, though he is critical of his work. He had a passion for potions, spending countless hours reading about them, though it was not required for school. He also loves puzzles and puzzle games, including wizard's chess.
Dislikes: There are few things that Kellen does not like, with the exceptions of tobacco smoke, centipedes and wool, as it causes him to itch.
Quirks: He likes to change his accent mid sentence. Often going from Irish to English to American, southern is his favorite dialect. Owing to his paternal Grandmother being from the south and she is one of his favorite people.
Flaws: Kellen does not share his feeling well with others, preferring to listen rather than to speak. However, this has led to outbursts to seemingly small, insignificant things. Kellen was an only child and as such, is terrible at sharing. He has been known to obsess, and when this occurs, he only talks about that particular thing. For example, when he was reading over love potions, that was all he could think about, and therefore talk about, for two weeks.

Kellen Hall was born to Andrew and Margaret Hall in 1996. Andrew was a muggle born wizard born in North Carolina in the United States. He made his way to the UK in 1989 to try out for the Chudley Cannons, a dream that was never realized. He instead attended Merlin's Academy for Excellence. He met his future wife Margaret on his second day at the Academy. Margaret found his accent adorable, later he admitted that he made his accent more pronounced to catch her attention. Margaret was born to a muggle born mother, Evangeline, and a pure-blood father, Averish. Who both found Andrew "charming and intelligent." Andrew and Margaret were married in 1993. It was during this time that Margaret's father joined the Death Eaters, his reasons for doing so are still in question. When Evangeline found out about this, there was an argument during which Evangeline was killed. Margaret maintains the her father was under the influence of the Imperius Curse, as he was deeply in love with her mother. Averish disappeared after killing Margaret. In an attempt to locate her father she joined the movement against Voldemort, her husband following suit. Andrew was captured in 1997, and tortured. The Imperius curse was placed on him several times, but it was thoughts of his son that allowed him to fight it. He was rescued by members of the Order of the Phoenix two months after his capture.

Kellen's paternal grandmother, a muggle, insisted that he learn "muggle pasttimes". Diana Hall moved to the UK to be closer to her only grandchild. She played soccer, football, or basketball with him nearly every day and insisted he go to muggle schools until he was eleven.  She was responsible for Kellen's muggle education saying, "He was a child of two worlds."

At eleven, Kellen received his letter to Hogwarts, receiving a barn owl from his father. He named the owl, Oscar, after his favorite children's television show character. Kellen was sorted into Hufflepuff, a house which none of his other ancestors had ever been in, being mostly sorted into Slytherine or Ravenclaw. At Hogwarts he excelled in potions. In his third year, upon his father's urging, he tried out for the Quididitch team. It was disastrous. He lost control of his broom and floated all the way to the Ravenclaw tower. He was thrown off his broom and through the window of the of the girls dormitory, startling a rather excitable fourth year girl, who he ended up dating for a year after the incident.

His next couple of years at Hogwarts were wrought with personal tragedy. His mother, who had been battling crippling depression following the death of her mother and her father's betrayal, took an overdose of Dragon's Breath, a notorious street drug. She was taken to St. Mungos, where she still resides. And just before Christmas break in his sixth year, he received an owl that his grandmother had been killed by a drunk driver crossing the street. It was with the help of his friend Meridus Mallory that he was able to function.

Upon leaving Hogwarts Kellen, took odd jobs, finally ending up at a little ice cream shop, so that he could be close to St. Mungos. His father, an alumni of Merlin's Academy for Excellence, wrote them asking if they would consider his son, feeling that Kellen was talented enough to be considered and needed a push forward. No one was more surprised than Kellen when he received the letter. Now he was in the Leaky Cauldron, reading over the letter for the millionth time.
